Repulse Bay

This weekend, I made a short trip to the southern Hong Kong Island. I started at Deep Water Bay and walked to Repulse Bay, admiring the sea and the surroundings. It’s such a beautiful area.

This is a place where I could imagine myself living. A very serene environment, yet not that far from the financial district of Central and the shopping areas in Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok.

Victoria Harbour from the Peak

I love this city. It’s too bad that there are only weeks left until I’m going to leave. (Next month, I’ll be in the cold and dark Sweden again.)

Hong Kong, I’ll be back, you can count on that.

ITU Telecom World 2006

Thursday, December 7th, 2006

Thanks to CUHK, I have tickets to ITU Telecom World 2006 which is at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. I went there today, and it was all fairly interesting. If the news from one company was less interesting, then their stand itself was often all the more interesting.

The biggest trend: IMS. I lost count of the number of times that IMS was mentioned, and did so very early on.

Here are a few photos:
