Sanya and Beijing

I went to beautiful Sanya (三亚) for Christmas. Besides visiting the local attractions, we enjoyed the warm weather, walked along the beach, went swimming and much else. It sounds wonderful, doesn’t it? Very different compared to the cold and snowy Christmases that I usually have.

Now, I’m in Beijing and will stay here for a couple of weeks. And today, my afternoon is free so I think I’ll be going to Wangfujing (王府井) for a little shopping…

Repulse Bay

This weekend, I made a short trip to the southern Hong Kong Island. I started at Deep Water Bay and walked to Repulse Bay, admiring the sea and the surroundings. It’s such a beautiful area.

This is a place where I could imagine myself living. A very serene environment, yet not that far from the financial district of Central and the shopping areas in Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok.

Victoria Harbour from the Peak

I love this city. It’s too bad that there are only weeks left until I’m going to leave. (Next month, I’ll be in the cold and dark Sweden again.)

Hong Kong, I’ll be back, you can count on that.
