I went to beautiful Sanya (三亚) for Christmas. Besides visiting the local attractions, we enjoyed the warm weather, walked along the beach, went swimming and much else. It sounds wonderful, doesn’t it? Very different compared to the cold and snowy Christmases that I usually have.

Now, I’m in Beijing and will stay here for a couple of weeks. And today, my afternoon is free so I think I’ll be going to Wangfujing (王府井) for a little shopping…

There is clearly no need to go back to Sweden for Christmas when ginger snaps (pepparkakor in Swedish) are readily available at the nearest IKEA.
